Recovery

You are unique, and so is your recovery. At ARMS, we won’t tell you what to do. Instead, we’ll support you while you decide how you want to improve your life and, when you’re ready, let you tell us what your recovery process should be.

Unlike other substance use disorder treatment programs, we invite you and your family to seek information from us, even if you’re not yet ready to face your substance use. Even if you don’t wish to sign up for our program, you can still join us for a onetime consultation. During this meeting, you and your family can ask questions, and we will share our informed, outside perspective with you.

If you think you have a substance-related problem, we can help you to find the inpatient, residential and/or outpatient services you need. You will be guided every step of the way by your Recovery Coach, a masters-level social worker who is always there to help you define and reach your recovery and life goals.

Your Recovery, Your Coach

Your Recovery Coach will help you to make informed decisions about your recovery, understand how it will impact the rest of your life and manage the challenges and uncertainties that may come up along the way. In addition to giving you the communication tools to talk with your parents, your Recovery Coach will make sure your parents understand how important it is that you make your own choices about the best way to approach your recovery.

You will have regular meetings with your Recovery Coach. You can call or text your Recovery Coach any time you have a question or need someone to listen to you. Your Recovery Coach will also regularly text you to offer help and support.

Have the Life You Want to Have

Your recovery plan will not only deal with your substance use, but also help you to learn the goal setting strategies you need to move on to the next stage of your life, whether your dream is college, vocational school or a job. With all new interests, skill sets and friends, you’ll be more likely to enjoy a happy, independent life without substances.
